The Benediction by Toast: Reviews & Ratings
Our family from Lake Oswego Oregon were here visiting and the first thing they asked "We are hungry and would love to visit somewhere we've never been" I said I have the right place. Another great hit, the service was great our waitress kept our glasses full (coffee ) and the food was excellent. They kept saying "We need a place like this back home" everyone who couldn't finished took their meals to our house for lunch or breakfast. We will return again to our favorite place. I don't remember our waitress name she was outstanding with our party of six
First time here. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Waiter was extremely attentive.
Did not disappoint. The Benedicts, like it namesakes, love up to it name. Although the dishes were smaller then we were hoping, compared to the other price, but the flavor more then makes up for it. Especially the hash brown chips The service was also great
Enjoyed a nice breakfast, Santa Bacon Benedict with Mexican Mocha. The Benedict was delicious; the mocha, simply amazing! Esther, our server, was friendly and attentive. The place wasn’t busy upon arrival but packed when I left. Overall, a good experience!
Good brunch spot in San Gabriel Valley Tried their Surf & Turf, Classic breakfast, Arugula salad, Peach Mimosa & Bloody Mary; everything was tasty and generously served. My only complaint was that my mimosa was room temperature; they were very nice and changed it out. I'll definitely be back to try more eggs benny
Let me paint the scene: me, my family, 12 of us deep, two babies in tow, all hungry and definitely a little chaotic. We walk into The Benediction, and instead of getting side eyes or “Sorry, we’re full,” we get straight up hospitality magic. This place didn’t just seat us. They made it feel like we belonged there. The woman (pretty sure she was the manager) didn’t flinch when she saw our crew. She offered us options, rearranged tables like a brunch ninja, and literally swapped out a two person table for a four person table mid meal when she saw we needed space. Who does that? She made sure everyone was comfy and that alone deserves five stars before we even talk food. But oh, let’s talk food. So What Should You Eat at The Benediction? Here’s the move: • Filet Mignon Bearnaise Benedict: Tender steak meets rich sauce on a brunch plate built like a dream. I didn’t know I needed filet mignon for breakfast, but now I refuse to go back. • Strawberry Cheesecake French Toast: Sweet, indulgent, and every bit as insane as it sounds. It’s dessert for breakfast without the guilt. • Perfect Avocado Toast: The name says it all. Crunchy, creamy, seasoned like it actually matters, this isn’t your average millennial cliché. The coffee? Bold and smooth, the kind that makes you feel like the day’s already off to a good start. Add a light breeze from the outdoor seating and boom, you’re vibing. Is It Good for Families? Big Groups? Actual Humans? Yes, yes, and yes. We had our infants with us and not once did it feel like a hassle. The vibe was laid back, the service was top tier, and somehow, even with kids, we felt relaxed. That’s rare. The Benediction knows how to make brunch feel like a moment, not just a meal. Pro Tips Before You Roll In: • Show up early if you’ve got a crew. They’ll take care of you, but help them help you. • Share everything. I mean it. This menu is built for passing plates and trying bites. • Sit outside if the weather’s right. It levels up the whole experience. Final Word: If you’re anywhere near City of Industry and you haven’t hit up The Benediction, fix that immediately. It’s brunch with heart, flavor that actually hits, and service that makes you want to hug someone. We’re already planning our next visit. You should too.
We finally had an opportunity to eat here, and it was ok overall. Food: we went with the house and surf n turf eggs Benedict (EB) and the chocolate chip pancake (for our son). The house EB was the better of the two and was enjoyable. The surf was good, but the turf was blan and could have been more flavorful. My gripe for the EB's was that the vinegar flavor was too strong on the poached egg. It added a sourness that was off-putting. My son had no complaints about his pancake. The lavender lattes were tasty but not worth the price tag for the amount you get. Service: it was great. Our server was nice and courteous; I can't complain. This was probably the best part of the overall experience with our dine in experience. Atmosphere: it was ok. It needed some work but nothing to truly knock it for. Overall: i am glad we came and tried it. I would not go out of my way for it, but if I returned, I would order the House EB for sure.
The food here was delicious. The wait staff was polite and helpful. Seating was fast and our food was out quickly. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available. They also seem to be pet friendly since I saw a customer with their dog in the outdoor seating area.
